Chattanooga Big Band

The idea of creating a Big Band under a completely different concept and image was born in Carral Asociados in 1988. To achieve it, since the very beginning great musicians and privileged voices were sought.

the band has evolved whilst incorporating conductors who would orchestrate the repertoire with an original, exclusive and personal style. This would yield a unique and effective formula which would grant a recognisable and own identity.

Chattanooga Big Band

Chattanooga Big Band’s repertoire is extensive and carefully selected so as to achieve originality and personalisation through recognisable pieces from any and every age.

For every show, the songs are specifically chosen to allow for an unforgettable musical experience, always tuned in with the event’s character.

The Big Band's performance can be divided into two distinct parts:

The first one, aimed as a background, low volume, ambience music for a cocktail, lunch or dinner, allowing guests to talk without being disturbed by the music. During this part, songs from Frank Sinatra, Nat "King" & Natalie Cole, Chicago, Billy Joel, Burt Bacharach, Beatles, Carpenters, Elton John amongst others are played.

The second part focuses on dancing and partying, adding to the repertoire more lively musical genres; swing, latin music, 70s, 80s and 90s disco music, as well as soul, rock & roll, etc.

There is no need for dancers, pre-recorded music, summer hits or large audiovisual stagings to make every performance unique and unrepeatable.

Chattanooga Big Band focuses on events with a different audience and environment: private parties, openings, anniversaries, award ceremonies, conventions or firm and product presentations making each one unique and unrepeatable.
